WHITEHORSE—Yukon University, Yukonstruct, and Yukon Venture Angels, with the support of the Government of Yukon, is providing programming to local entrepreneurs and businesses in the Yukon by partnering with Spring Activator and Volition to run an Investment Readiness Training program from September 2022 through to January 2023.

This training will be an eight-session program facilitated by Spring Activator and Volition, preparing Yukon entrepreneurs and start-ups to be investment-ready. Participating entrepreneurs will gain unique insights into the mindset of investors, learn the fundamentals of seeking investment capital and develop their own pitch presentation.

The program is designed for any entrepreneur that is curious to learn the ins and outs of raising capital for their start-up, whether they’re looking into or currently raising debt financing or directly from investors.

At the end of the program, the participants will have the opportunity to apply to the Yukon Investment Challenge.
