Two women collaborate on exceptional esthetics care in the Yukon

Ammanda and Neha

Neha Devi and Ammanda Partridge are passionate about providing excellence in esthetics care in the Yukon. Since meeting at YukonU I&E while Neha participated in Summer Biz School, these women have teamed up to support each other’s goals.

Ammanda, owner of Elements Hair Studio and Day Spa, is participating in IncubateNorth with the goal to offer high quality esthetics training through her recently-launched Elements Esthetics Academy – the first of its kind in the Yukon. Ammanda has over 18 years of industry experience, holds many certifications, and is passionate about sharing knowledge, skills, and fostering esthetics employment opportunities across the Yukon.

Neha trained and received certification for esthetics and hairstyling in India, and her journey brought her to live and work in Canada. Neha believes in the power of personalized beauty transformations, and while working in Faro and Whitehorse, Yukon, she saw the need and encouragement for services such as temporary tattoos and threading, which inspired her to open her own salon. Neha went on to participate in Summer Biz School with the goal to launch her own business – Lavender Mist Beauty Salon.

With shared passion for providing nourishing services in Whitehorse and rural communities, Ammanda and Neha “just knew we could work together.” Neha immediately demonstrated her skill in esthetics, and Ammanda invited her to join the Elements team on a part-time basis, while she continues to work toward her own business goals. Neha has been providing threading, waxing, manicures, pedicures and will be offering facials soon. In turn, Neha will be sharing some of her own esthetics services with Elements’ clients.

Ammanda is also supporting Neha in the process to acquire 2,000 supervised practical hours in order to meet BeautyCouncil standards – a voluntary association which will empower Neha to fast-track her esthetics career.

Our team is passionate about connecting entrepreneurs, mentors, partners and collaborators who support each other’s goals, and we can’t wait to see what Ammanda and Neha do next!
