Reporting to the Department Head, Southern Campuses, this position works as a member of a diverse team to develop, promote, deliver and evaluate programs/courses that support the education and training goals of Carcross and Yukon College.

We are looking for applicants who enjoy working in a student-centered environment and being part of a dynamic, community-oriented team.  Applicants should have experience working with diverse ages, groups and cultures to accomplish cooperative community projects and goals.  The ideal candidate preferably will have a Masters Degree or a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (i.e., Education), combined with experience in:  coordinating programs and people in a cross-cultural environment, community development, adult basic education instruction, and working collaboratively with First Nations organizations, agencies and governments.   A valid First Aid certificate is required, and a valid driver’s license is required to be completed within 6 months of hire.  Candidates with an acceptable combination of education, training and experience may also be considered.
