WO 022 - Chlorine Handling

This 4 day course is designed to increase the participants? knowledge with regards to the following important topics: water quality and disinfection, alternate types of disinfection, chlorine measuring & equipment, water distribution and treatment, hypochlorination, system design and maintenance and practical math for operators. Safe handling and shipping of chlorine as well as safety and emergency response procedures are also explained. This course prepares the participants to write BCWWA?s Chlorine Handler?s Exam.

This course is especially recommended for water & wastewater operators and is relevant to health professionals, supervisors, technicians and homeowners involved and/or interested in water quality.
