Little Learners camps are specifically designed for our younger campers, from children entering kindergarten this calendar year to 6 years of age. This list of camps is unique to our little ones. Campers are introduced to interactive experiments in science and technology, as well as a variety of crafts, stories, educational activities, fun recreational games, and a Friday field trip!
These camps give your camper the opportunity to learn about how, why, what, and where things happen. Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) are foundations of every YC Kids’ science camp. Your camper will experience the exciting ways science is being used today, and how it can be applied in the future.
These camps allow your camper to create graphic design, stop motion animation, movie-making, or take apart and rebuild basic household electronics and learn how things tick!
The camps are created to inspire and encourage campers as they design and build their individual projects learning – and using – multiple new skills. Along with possible projects in carpentry, culinary arts, mechanics and electrical, campers will explore the huge and exciting world of trades!
Yukon College Kids' Camps travel across the Yukon Territory to deliver camp programming to community youth (ages 5-13 years old). These camps are focused on creating positive and fun learning experiences with projects based in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The camps will spend time outside, and will also include a pizza lunch party!
All campers receive a free T-shirt.
This seasonal newsletter will provide parents and guardians with important information and reminders as their camp approaches.
We may ask for your feedback to improve future camps. When the upcoming summer registration prepares to open, you’ll be among the first to know!
