What are the system requirements for Sway?

To enjoy Sway to its fullest potential, we recommend using the latest available version of any of the following supported Web browsers:

  • Microsoft Edge
  • Internet Explorer
  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Firefox

Sway for Windows 10

If your computer or device is running Windows 10, you can use Sway in the Microsoft Edge browser or utilize the Sway app in your Yukon College Office 365 account (my apps).

NOTE   Sway for Windows 10 is currently only for PCs and tablets. We’re busy working on a Windows Phone version, so please check back again soon for updates.

Sway in Internet Explorer

If you’re using Internet Explorer 9.0 or earlier, you won’t be able to use Sway. We recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer or download any of the other supported browsers to use Sway.

Sway in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox

While you can use Sway in older versions of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, your overall experience in Sway may be degraded. If you’re experiencing any problems while authoring in Sway, please consider upgrading your preferred browser to the latest version.

Sway for iPhone and iPad

Office Sway is available as a free download on the App Store. You can also install this app on your iPad.

Sway for Android

A Sway app will be available for Android devices in the future. We will update this article when the app is available.

Sway for Windows Phone

A Sway app will be available for Windows Phone devices in the future. We will update this article when the app is available.
