Administrative Assistant/Welcome Centre Host
Reporting to the Integrated Business Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Student & Infrastructure Support unit. Within this dynamic role you will also be supporting Welcome Centre activities, including: greeting visitors to the campus, directing incoming calls and messages, maintaining social media platforms and assisting with organizing events.
The ideal applicant will have related post-secondary coursework and experience working in administrative assistant positions combined with excellent customer service, communication, attention to detail, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. Ability to manage a high workload and keep to tight deadlines is essential. Applicants must have advanced computer skills including designing posters and manipulating spreadsheets.
Candidates with an acceptable combination of experience and education may also be considered.
Backfilling this position on a full-time basis is our preference; however, job sharing opportunities may be considered. (2 part-time employees).
