Reporting to the Manager, First Nations Initiatives, this position is responsible for developing and implementing programming initiatives to meet the needs of Yukon’s First Nations and the identified core competency requirements in First Nations’ governments. Specific project duties include developing and coordinating the Youth Leadership Intensive program for First Nation communities for delivery in the spring and summer of 2018. 

The ideal candidate will have relevant post-secondary education and a strong knowledge of Yukon First Nations history, experience in the delivery of educational programming and working in partnership with First Nations.  The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as computer skills (word processing, databases, and spreadsheets). A valid driver’s license is also required. Willingness to travel to the Communities is required.

Consideration may be given to those with an appropriate combination of education and experience.
