The Procurement & Contracting Services will play an important role in supporting the College in procuring a diverse range of services which are critical to our operation as we move towards university status.
As the Manager, you be overseeing the full procurement cycle from processing of requisitions to tendering, evaluating and awarding of contract/purchase orders. In addition you will maintain the capital assets inventory, monitor lease payments or construction of College facilities as well as manage the shipping and receiving unit. This position is “hands-on” and requires strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Senior experience working in procurement and contracting environment combined with related post-secondary education
- PMAC / SCMA Accreditation or current enrolment in PMAC program is a strong asset.
- Experience in accounting, budgeting, insurance and risk management
- Experience using automated purchasing procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
