As a Generalist, Pat worked in small rural hospitals, outpost nursing stations, inner city communities, communicable diseases, conducted research, administration, and always, in education - whether individually or groups. She has participated in the development of the legislation governing the practice of nursing in the Yukon - both initial legislation and the recent updating that included Nurse Practitioners. She is a Board Member of the Canadian Association of Continuing Care Educators, a member of the YRNA Nurse Practitioner Steeting Committee, a member of the Yukon Advisory Committee on Nursing and an Adjudicator for the Canadian Nurses Protective Society.
