T2202A Tax Form
Tax Information
Tuition Tax Receipts - T2202A for the 2012 tax year will be available for students to print directly from Banner Self Service starting February 18, 2013.
The Tuition & Education Amounts Certificate (T2202A) is used for reporting to the Canada Revenue Agency for Income Tax Purposes. It provides information on the amount of eligible fees paid in the calendar year and the number of months of attendance in full and or part time studies for the purpose of filing an income tax return. This form can be used for a student’s own personal tax return or to transfer some, or all, of the amounts to a spouse or parent.
Please refer to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Income Tax Guidelines for instructions on using this form.
It is the student’s responsibility to print their own T2202A. These certificates will not be mailed out.
Yukon College will issue a T2202A certificate if:
• You were enrolled during the calendar year (January to December) in a qualifying (post-secondary level) educational program;
• Yukon College received payment(s) applicable to eligible tuition fees for academic term(s) in the calendar year.
