WO 045 - Essentials of Effective Supervision

This 2 day course is designed to provide the participants with an opportunity to examine such topics as: supervisory styles, transition challenges from 'employee' to 'supervisor', how to set performance standards, effective communication for various audiences, what progressive discipline means and how it is applied, what due diligence looks like in the contemporary workplace.

This course is especially recommended for water & wastewater operators aspiring to or currently hired as supervisors in a public works environment, and is relevant to health professionals, supervisors, technicians and homeowners involved and/or interested in water and health & safety.
