To celebrate Tourism Week Canada 2024, we were thrilled to sit down to chat with Kalin Pallett, owner of Eddyline - the first tourism business to participate in YukonU I&E’s IncubateNorth program.

Eddyline offers business developmentprogram delivery, and logistical support services for the Tourism sector. With 20 years of experience in Yukon's tourism industry, Kalin and his team help craft and deliver authentic, memorable experiences that are life-changing for visitors. “I want people to see how beautiful the natural world is, how special the Yukon is,” he shared.

The tourism community is wonderful, with so many people doing really good workTourism is a key economic driver for the Yukon. It's a powerful tool for reconciliation, culture preservation, and conservation. When done properly, it's also sustainable. Eddyline thrives on collaborating to grow Yukon’s tourism sector and aims to create opportunities for the next generation of tourism industry professionals.

Kalin recently traveled to Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal with Yukon Wild to promote Yukon as a favourable destination for year-round adventure travel. Here at home, he provides expertise and services such as ground transportation and product development support to tour operators so that they are free to do what they do best – bring people from around the globe on meaningful adventures.

As an example of their innovative work, Kalin and his team ran the first commercial guided SUP trip on the Nisutlin River in 2022, are helping to host a gravel bike race this July, and served as the project lead for the award-winning Aurora 360 Experience, for which Kalin received the prestigious Tourism Champion Award at the Tourism Awards of Excellence. Eddyline’s commitment to exceptional tourism experiences reflects Kalin’s profound love of his Yukon home, combined with his passion for time in nature.
