Design Your Campus

The Ayamdigut Campus Master Plan revealed!

The plan was unveiled by Yukon Education Minister Doug Graham on June 10, 2015 at the Old Fire Hall.

The College's Ayamdigut Campus Land Use Plan will direct the future growth of the campus' lands in over the next two decades. (If the plan is illegible using this link, please save it to your desktop. It should then be legible.)

Yukon College was tasked with creating a Master Land Use Plan for Ayamdigut campus, focusing on how we could serve our diverse community, and how we connect to Whitehorse, to our other campuses and to the rest of the Yukon. Now is the perfect time to look at our needs and opportunities, and to develop a more compelling campus experience.

A re-imagined campus with the Yukon at heart
The “Design Your Campus” project responds directly to the Yukon College strategic plan’s focus on creating a unique post-secondary model, collaborating with First Nations, engaging Yukon communities, attracting and retaining students, and expanding Northern research and innovation.

A plan that supports local learning
The “Design Your Campus” project was guided by a diverse advisory committee to ensure it responds to our evolving academic plans and the educational needs of our communities.  The project will also integrate best practices from other northern institutions and communities.
