Change of Process – AV Request

In order to maximize efficiency for all parties the process for requesting audiovisual equipment is being revisited. Please review the sign out process below;


Pit sound system

The Pit Sound System includes 2 wireless microphones max. To request the use of the sound system, you may put in a help ticket to AV Request. Users requesting the use of the sound system must go through a short training session on how to use the system (10 mins.) as they will be responsible for setup and takedown of the equipment. If you have not been trained, or need a refresh, please include this info in the ticket.


Cafeteria sound system

The Cafeteria Sound System includes 2 wireless microphones max. To request the use of the sound system, you may put in a help ticket to AV Request. Users requesting the use of the sound system must go through a short training session on how to use the system (15 mins.) as they will be responsible for setup and takedown of the equipment. If you have not been trained, or need a refresh, please include this info in the ticket.


Gym sound system

The Gym Sound System includes 2 wireless microphones max. To request the use of the sound system, you may put in a help ticket to AV Request. Users requesting the use of the sound system must go through a short training session on how to use the system (15 mins.) as they will be responsible for setup and takedown of the equipment. If you have not been trained, or need a refresh, please include this info in the ticket.
 

Sound on wheels

The Sound on Wheels System(s) include a max of 2 microphones (wired or wireless depending on the system). To request the use of the sound system, you may put in a help ticket to AV Request. Users requesting the use of the sound system must go through a short training session on how to use the system (25 mins.) as they will be responsible for transport, setup, and takedown of the equipment. If you have not been trained, or need a refresh, please include this info in the ticket.

All other items are to be signed out in person from the Innovation Commons. Users are responsible for the pick-up, transport, and return of these items. These items include things like projectors and screens, laptops, video cameras, and flipcharts. If you are unsure of what items are offered for sign-out, please ask a member of the library.

Any event that requires more or different equipment (I.e. 3+ mics, instruments, specialized equipment not offered, etc.) may be accommodated under special circumstances, but it is strongly recommended to hire a professional AV company to handle these events.

Items no longer offered include but are not limited to;

  • VCR’s
  • Overhead Projectors
  • Conference Phones
  • Slide Projectors
