WFA 001: Standard Wilderness First Aid
This 40 hour, scenario based, standard wilderness first aid introduces field care and first aid for trauma injuries, environmental injuries and medical emergencies where access to an urban emergency medical system may be hours or days away. Students consider long term injury management in the field as well as patient transport decision making. Certification is valid for 3 years. Includes Basic Rescuer CPR "C". Certification is by Yukon College.
