ESL 050: Advanced ESL
This course is designed to prepare non-native English speakers for further academic study. It focusses on reading strategies and writing processes. Advanced Level ESL offers students instruction and practice in reading, composition and academic study. Advanced Level ESL is offered 7.5 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): Internet-based TOEFL (IBT) score 53 or Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score 6 or IELTS of 5 or more. Students can be tested at Yukon College.
