ECD 123: Field Placement II
Students are placed in co-operating community agencies in a variety of early childhood settings such as day care centers, family day homes, kindergartens, hospital pediatric wards, parent day out centers, and centers for exceptional children. Under supervision of trained and experienced personnel, students have an opportunity to integrate theory and practice in the development of skills for working with young children and their families. The students progress through a developmental sequence of experiences throughout the four terms. Students are also encouraged to evaluate themselves in terms of strengths and weaknesses. Prerequisite(s): ECD 113 and ECD 114.
