Mediation is a practical method for helping people resolve their conflicts and attain mutually satisfactory outcomes. Develop your mediation skills as you learn to determine whether mediation is appropriate, guide the mediation process, manage emotions and use effective communication skills. Engage yourself in simulated disputes involving co-workers, customers, committee members, neighbours, parents/teens and co-parents as you hone your skills under the guidance of trained coaches. Receive a DVD recording of your role-playing exercise so you can self-assess and continue your development at home.
