Yukon College is looking for qualified people to deliver a variety of First Nations-specific, one-three day workshops. Workshops are in the following areas:

• Understanding Land Claims & Self-Governance
• Policy in the North
• Introduction to First Nations Governance and Public Administration
• UFA Boards & Committees Training
• Intergovernmental Relations
• Financial Management
• Strategic Planning
• First Nations Leadership Training
• Human Resources
• Communications

These workshops are designed to provide training to First Nation Government employees, Yukon Government employees, and Government of Canada employees in the specific topic areas listed. Each workshop is one-three days of training. Curriculum is developed for the workshops, but instruction will involve a small amount of preparation in advance of delivery.

Applicants should have relevant education and experience with an emphasis on First Nations governance and agreements. Previous experience working with First Nation governments, organizations and/or communities would be considered an asset. Please clearly specify which workshop(s) you would be interested in instructing.
