As a Student Engagement Coordinator, you will research, develop, implement and evaluate student engagement and leadership initiatives, as well as support student orientation, events, recreation, and special programs. You will work with individuals and groups of students to encourage leadership, innovation and creativity.

The successful candidate will have relevant post-secondary education and experience working with diverse populations and designing and delivering events, programs and activities that engage students. Experience with post-secondary educational institutions, and campus life programs would be considered an asset.

You have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work creatively in an academic environment along with the ability to advise and mentor student leaders on matters related to leadership development, student committees, student organizations, special projects, and special task forces.  You are highly organized and skilled at working collaboratively with numerous partners.

A security clearance is required. Candidates with an acceptable combination of experience and education may also be considered.
